For years, the community of Penmachno, a rural village in the valleys of Eryri National Park, was part of the UK’s 'forgotten' four percent with no reliable mobile coverage from any operator.

That’s now changed.

EE has become the first operator to deliver reliable mobile connectivity to the village, helping residents and local businesses feel safer, access essential digital services and better support the local economy, while also providing vital coverage for the emergency services.
