Below are the methods and details for paying your BT bill.
There are two types of Direct Debit you can set up:
- Whole Bill Direct Debit
Automatically pay the whole of each bill when it's due by Direct Debit - Monthly Payment Plan
Spread the cost of your quarterly bill by making fixed monthly payments by Direct Debit, based on an estimate.
Set up a Direct Debit in My BT
Or call us on 0800 44 33 11. On that call, you'll need your:
- bank or building society account number
- sort code
If you have a monthly payment plan. You’ll spread the cost of your bill, making fixed monthly payments by Direct Debit, based on an estimate. We automatically adjust your payments as required.

Pay your bill on My BT with a debit or credit card. Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal are also supported.
You can make a payment without logging in on this page if you don’t have a My BT account.
Transfer your payment to our account using these bank details:
- Account number: 00375853
- Sort code: 20-00-00
- Reference: use your BT account number.
To pay by cheque, you need to:
- make cheques or Postal Orders payable to BT Payment Services Ltd
- write your customer account number on the back
- Include the payment slip from the bottom of your bill

You can pay your bill at a PayPoint outlet or Post Office. Take your bill to your chosen outlet and have them scan it to pay towards your balance, or use a BT payment card.

You’ll need your bill and bar-coded payment slip. Please keep your receipts.
You can make part payments towards your bill too, as long as you pay the full amount by the date requested on your bill.

You can choose one of the alternative payment methods on this page if you can't travel to your usual payment point.
If you can't pay your bill, contact us as soon as possible at 0800 800 150. We may disconnect or restrict your service if you do not pay your bill.
