EE TV. The new name for BT TV

BT TV is now EE TV, and it’s here to bring you all the entertainment and sport you know and love. The name and branding will now have changed on your TV screen, app and the TV store, but you'll still have everything you'd already set up, like your recordings. All your service and billing information will still be accessed via your My BT account.

No, you do not have to pay more as a result of your TV service changing from BT TV to EE TV.

You get all the same entertainment and sport content you know and love. And to welcome you to EE TV, we're offering three months free Apple TV+. That means three months of great shows like Ted Lasso, Severance and The Morning Show, all on us.

No, you don't need a new EE TV Set Top Box. Everything works exactly the same, you'll just notice the name and branding change on your TV screen, app and on the TV store.

Yes, you can still change your TV package each month. To change your EE TV package, just log into My BT.

No, you don't need to change your broadband provider. BT broadband isn't changing.

You may have noticed your package name has changed, however it does not impact the content included in your package or the duration of your contract. You still get all the same entertainment and sport content you know and love.

Whilst we hope you'll love EE TV and don't want to cancel your TV service, if you did, and you're still in your minimum term contract then early termination fees will apply.

1. To add Apple TV+ to your account, go to bt.com/mybt and log in
2. Select 'Your Products', then 'Manage TV and Sport'
3. Apple TV+ is listed in the 'Your monthly TV Extras' section. Select Apple TV+ and follow the instructions to activate

After you have added Apple TV+ to your account, you will also receive a text from us which contains an activation link. Using this link allows you to sign up or create an account directly with Apple. You will need to follow the instructions in this to activate the add-on, if you don’t activate within one month it will cease and you will have to request the link again via My BT. You can’t activate Apple TV+ via your TV Box Pro or TV Box Mini. You must activate this via My BT or the SMS activation link before signing into the app.

All new and existing EE TV customers are eligible to add Apple TV+ 3 month free subscription. You can add and activate Apple TV+ through My BT.

Yes, you can watch Apple TV+ on the TV Box Pro or a TV Box Mini. The app is not yet available on older TV boxes, however you can also watch Apple TV+ through the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Mac and Apple TV, as well as compatible Smart TVs and streaming services. Check if your TV or streaming service is compatible at apple.com/apple-tv-app/devices/

Your 3 months free Apple TV+ subscription will start from the point you add this to your package in My BT, not from the point of activation.

Unless you cancel your subscription at the end of your free 3 months, you'll be charged the regular monthly price for Apple TV+ (£8.99).
