Part 4:BT Signal Assist


Subpart 1:BT Signal Assist

All charges are stated exclusive of VAT. The charges detailed in this BT Price List Entry apply to BT Signal Assist except as amended via a Charges Schedule provided by BT.

1. Definitions

The definitions are set out in the Conditions and Service Schedule ? please see Paragraph 4 below for more information.

The following definitions also apply:

?Contract for Mobile Service? means the contract between the Customer and BT under which the Devices to which the Monthly Subscription Charge for BT Signal Assist will be applied, are provided.

?Contract for Broadband Service? means the contract between the Customer and BT under which the broadband service is provided.

2. Minimum Period

BT Signal Assist is subject to:

A Minimum Period of 24 months.

3. Table 1 ? Charges - General

The following charges will apply to BT Signal Assist:

(a) A Monthly Subscription Charge of £6.00 per month per Device;

(b) Monthly Subscription Charges are based on the number of Devices in use by the Customer at the end of each billing period. Devices ordered during the billing period will be charged on a pro rata basis until the end of the first month in which the Device was provided.

(c) Monthly Subscription Charges for any Device which is terminated will be charged to the end of the month in which the termination took place.

(d) Any usage charges incurred by the Customer when using BT Signal Assist will be charged as follows:

  • (i) for mobile usage ? in accordance with the charges applicable to the Contract for Mobile Service.
  • An example for illustrative purposes only: a customer taking BT Signal Assist with BT Talk Time Solo will be charged for mobile usage in accordance with the charges applicable to BT Talk Time Solo.
  • (ii) for broadband usage ? in accordance with the Contract for Broadband Service.

4. Conditions

(a) BT Signal Assist is provided under the Contract for Mobile Service. The Contract for Mobile Service comprises:

  • (i) This BT Price List;
  • (ii) Conditions for BT Business Services (BT1130);
  • (iii) Service Schedule for BT Business Mobile Service (BT1147); and
  • (iv) The Welcome Letter where this states it forms part of the Contract or the Charges Schedule where one is provided.

The terms and conditions specific to BT Signal Assist included in the Service Schedule (BT1147) will apply.

(b) If the Customer terminates the Contract for Mobile Service, BT Signal Assist will automatically be terminated and termination charges will be payable as applicable.

5. Termination Charges

Where the Customer terminates BT Signal Assist during the Minimum Period, the termination charges detailed in the Welcome Letter (where this states it forms part of the Contract) will apply. Where such a Welcome Letter is not received, the termination charges will be as detailed in the Charges Schedule.
