BT Calling Features and Digital Select Services can be taken on Temporary Service exchange lines, ISDN2e lines and ISDN30e channels. Additional Services can be taken on Temporary Service FeatureLines. The rentals for these additional services apply as fore the line rentals.

PSTN lines, ISDN2e lines, Featureline and Featureline Compact lines required as Temporary Service lines must be taken with TotalCare at standard charges (See Section 14 Part 1). TotalCare guarantees that BT will respond to a fault reported on the line within a given time interval. TotalCare must be taken for the whole period of service of the temporary line, or for a minimum of 3 months if the line is required for more than 3 months.

Customers who require extra cover (for example at an event) may request for an engineer to be on standby at the Customer's premises. At events where the organiser requests an engineer on standby for possible fault repair, the total timescale charge will be shared over all lines ordered. Standby engineers are charged at normal Timescale charges (Please see Part 8 of this Section) or at the special events and exhibitions daily rates outlined in this section.

Additionally, any miscellaneous charges which BT incurs will be passed onto the customer at cost, including such items as materials and expenses.

When ordering Temporary service, the standard product code for the type of line required. For Type A situations only a `T' for Totalcare should always be placed in the box for service care maintenance.
