A Site Office is a temporary building or structure that is generally not intended to remain in position permanently. Site Offices may include structures such as, Portacabin, portable storage container and similar temporary structures intended to be used as offices for business purposes.

Site Offices will only be provided on Site Office line products.

A business PSTN Site Office line may, upon request, be delivered to a cabinet or other approved weatherproof housing not associated with a temporary structure. In this circumstance the customer is responsible for providing any wiring from the location where the NTE is provided.

Site Office lines are available on the following business line types, PSTN line, Featureline, Featureline Compact, Featureline Corporate, Embark and ISDN2. Excess Construction charge exemptions will not apply to any line supplied to a Site Office and standard Excess Construction charges will apply where appropriate, see Section 45 Part 1 Subpart3 .

This service is charged as per the standard charges for the type of line involved including Rental, Connection, Take-Over and Cancellation charges.

Customers will also pay the standard connection charge for the service taken.

Survey Fee

An engineering survey is required to provide a detailed quotation. This survey will be charged at the following rate, regardless of whether the quote is accepted or rejected:

BT Calling Features, Digital Select Services and Additional Services can be taken on Site Office business PSTN lines, ISDN2e lines and FeatureLines. Rental charges for these additional services apply as set out in the Price List entry for the products.

Standard line rental charges also apply .

A cease date is not necessary at point of order.

Site office lines are eligible for inclusion in pricing packages which include lines. There will be no minimum term of service and termination charges applicable to permanent lines ceased within the first 12 months of service will not apply.
