* each text message is limited to 160 characters. Where a request is made to send a text which exceeds 160 characters the message will be delivered as multiple messages each up to 160 characters in length. Each text will be charged at the rate appropriate to the destination telephone. ** Texts to premium rate services are not currently available. Please see Section 2 Part 1 Subpart BT Text for further information relating to BT Text service. All Other Call Prices Call prices not covered in Tables A to H will be charged in accordance with the Standard Contract. Table H - International Chargebands for PSTN and ISDN Calls Applicable to PSTN and ISDN calls for BT Business Call Essentials except for International ISDN 64k/bits Data Calls. * These calls are excluded from the IDD Call Package and will be charged at the rates shown above at all times. Table I - Chargebands for International ISDN 64k/Bits Data Calls. Inclusive Minutes 1. BT Business Call Essentials provides Inclusive Minutes during the Minimum Period. The Customer will receive the Inclusive Minutes on every Line included in the Inventory (except for BT Business Value PSTN lines). 2. The Inclusive Minutes are 100 inland minutes per calendar month per Line. 3. The Inclusive Minutes applies to the following call types: Inland Calls which are defined as: 01, 02, 03, 05 (where charged at G21 rates), and calls from Northern Ireland to fixed destinations in the Republic of Ireland. 4. The Inclusive Minutes apply per Line and cannot be transferred to another Line. Any unused allowance cannot be carried forward to another month. At the beginning of each calendar month the minutes allowance for the Inclusive Minutes is reset. 5. Where the Inclusive Minutes applies, any Calls: (a) in excess of the Inclusive Minutes; or (b) which are not included within the Inclusive Minutes; or (c) after the Inclusive Minutes has been removed at the end of the Minimum Period; will be charged at the call rates set out above, as appropriate. 6. Installations: (a) The Customer will receive the Inclusive Minutes on all Lines in the Installation. (b)When measuring whether or not calls become chargeable under paragraph 5 above, BT will measure at Installation level which means that: Each calendar month, BT will add together the Inclusive Minutes for Lines in the Installation ("Total Allowance") and the usage across all the Lines in the Installation ("Total Usage"). Where the Total Usage in that calendar month exceeds the Total Allowance in that calendar month, BT will charge for the difference between the Total Allowance and the Total Usage as set out in paragraph 5 above. 7. It is the Customer's responsibility to monitor their usage against the Inclusive Minutes. 8. BT Business Value PSTN lines will not be eligible for the 100 inclusive minutes. Call Packages The following Call Packages as set out in the tables below, are available at an Additional Monthly Subscription Charge; BT Business Call Essentials UK Unlimited Call Package Table BT, may, at its discretion and by invitation only, apply the Additional Monthly Subscription charge at a special discounted rate, as set out below for the BT Business Call Essentials UK Unlimited Calls Package, provided that the Customer enters into a new contract with a Minimum Period of 24 months, the Additional Monthly Subscription charge per line is: BT Business Call Essentials IDD Call Package Call Package Additional Terms and Conditions The Call Package is subject to the following additional terms and conditions: 1. Customers must opt into the Call Package. 2. The Call Package is for a Minimum Period of 24 months. If the Call Package is ended before the Minimum Period has ended, early termination charges will apply as set out below. At the expiry of the Minimum Period, no further Minimum Period will apply and the Call Package will continue until terminated in accordance with the Contract. 3. The Additional Monthly Subscription Charge is billed either monthly/quarterly in advance and is in addition to any line rental charges applicable to the Line. Where the Call Package is applied part way through a month the Additional Monthly Subscription Charge due for the first month is a pro-rata of the full Additional Monthly Subscription Charge. 4. Application of the Call Package - the Call Package can be applied to any Line included in the Inventory, other than on Installations. If the Call Package is to be applied to a Line in an Installation, it will be applied to all Lines in the Installation (in which case the Additional Monthly Subscription Charge will apply per Line in the Installation). The Call Package applies per Line and cannot be transferred to another Line. 5. BT will charge for calls that are not included within the Call Package and minutes in excess of the 60 minutes at the relevant pence per minute rates set out above. 6. For the IDD Call Package, when measuring the Customer?s usage, BT will measure at Installation level which means that: each calendar month, BT will add together the allowance per Line in the Installation ("Total Allowance") and the usage across all the Lines in the Installation ("Total Usage"). Where the Total Usage in that calendar month exceeds the Total Allowance in that calendar month, BT will commence charging as set out above in paragraph 5 (Inclusive Minutes) on all Lines in the Installation. 6. Additions and Deletions. (a)The Customer can add and remove the Call Package from lines at any time. (b)If the Call Package is applied to a line in an Installation the following applies;
(c)If the Customer removes a Call Package from the line during the Minimum Period, early termination charges will apply. 7. Duration and call rounding is accordance with the General Notes- under Dialled Call Charges. Other benefits of BT Business Call Essentials Connection Charges The following products are provided at free or reduced connection or conversion charges for BT Business Call Essentials Customers, provided that the Customer takes a Long Term Contract on the Line. For Business PSTN Line this means a contract with a 24 month Minimum Period and for ISDN, Featureline and Featureline Compact, a contract with a Minimum Period of not less than 36 months. Details of the free or reduced connection or conversion charges are as detailed in Section 1of this Price List. BT Business PSTN, BT Business Value PSTN and BT Business Critical PSTN - takeovers only ISDN 2 ISDN30 Featureline Featureline Compact Network Call Performance Where the Customer chooses to take NCP this will be provided at no additional charge until the BT Business Call Essentials contract is terminated. Inventory The Customer is responsible for identifying the Lines that are to be included within the Inventory and must advise BT of any omissions or changes. Failure to do so may delay acceptance and activation of the Customer?s order for BT Business Call Essentials and mean that Lines do not receive the benefits applicable to BT Business Call Essentials. Changes to Inventory Additions The Customer may add additional Lines (?Additional Lines?) to the Inventory at any time. The Customer may opt to take a Call Package on the Additional Lines. Where a Call Package is to be applied to an Additional Line in an Installation, it will be applied to all Lines in the Installation (in which case the Additional Monthly Subscription Charge will apply per Line in the Installation). The Inclusive Minutes will be included on all Additional Lines (except for BT Business Value lines). Removal of Lines from the Inventory Where the removal of a Line from the Inventory means that there are no longer any Lines in the Inventory, the BT Business Call Essentials Contract including any Call Package will terminate and any applicable Early Termination Charges will be applied in respect of the Call Package as set out below. Early termination charges will also apply on the Line subject to the Standard Contracts for the Lines. Termination of BT Business Call Essentials - Standard Contracts Termination of the BT Business Call Essentials Contract will not terminate any Standard Contracts which must be terminated in accordance with the terms and conditions of that Standard Contract (a termination charge may be payable in addition to any Early Termination Charge due under BT Business Call Essentials). If the Standard Contract is not terminated the charges applicable to the Standard Contract will apply. Termination of a Standard Contract for a Line will not terminate the BT Business Call Essentials Contract provided that at least one Line remains in the Inventory. Where termination of a Line means that there are no Lines in the Inventory, the BT Business Call Essentials Contract (including any Call Package) will terminate and an Early Termination Charge will apply to any Call Package (as detailed below under Early Termination Charges) in addition to any termination charges due under the Standard Contracts for the Line. Early Termination Charges The following Early Termination Charges apply where the customer has taken a Call Package and terminates the Call Package in its Minimum Period. The Early Termination Charge will be 50% of the Additional Monthly Subscription Charge due to the end of the Minimum Period for each Call Package. Migration Where the Customer is migrating to BT Business Call Essentials from another BT calls and lines package the migration rules applicable to that calls and lines package will apply. Where within the Minimum Period, the Customer is migrating from a BT Business Call Essentials Contract to another calls and lines package, early termination charges (as set out above) will apply for each Call Package that is within its Minimum Period. Conditions BT Business Call Essentials is for a Customer's own use and the Customer must not resell the service. BT Business Call Essentials is provided on BT's Contract for BT Business Call Essentials which consists of: (i) The Order Form (where one is provided); (ii) The Contract for BT Business Call Essentials which can be found at: http://www.bt.com/terms (or any other URL that BT provides to the Customer); and (iii) The BT Price List The Lines and services included in the Inventory and Calls are subject to the applicable BT standard terms and conditions ("Standard Contract") as amended by BT's Contract for BT Business Call Essentials. All charges other than those set out above will be in accordance with the Standard Contract. BT reserves the right to terminate the Customer?s Contract for BT Business Call Essentials (including any Call Package) if the number of Lines in the Inventory exceeds 50. Note: Where the Customer does not pay by Direct Debit the Payment Processing Fee set out in Section 15 Part 12 Subpart 3 will apply. Exclusions The following services are excluded: Residential Lines Service Provider Calls and Access lines Payphone lines Temporary Lines / Temporary Service Lines Telephone in a lift Rented Card Phone line Lines not provided by BT Featureline Corporate ISDN Connect BT Service lines FeatureNet Embark Telepoint lines Private Circuits Business Start Up lines Incoming DDI lines Custodial Tagging Lines Chargecard Calls billed to a credit card Exchange Lines provided at non-served premises Inbound Service calls and Network Service facility fees International Direct Connect (IDC) Business PSTN and ISDN lines provided under a contract which includes charges other than standard published charges and/or standard BT terms and conditions.
