DESCRIPTION |
BT Business Flex is a discounted pricing package for calls and lines. BT Business Flex is available to all business customers provided that they: - Commit to an annual Committed Spend; - Have at least one Line within the Inventory ; and - Have confirmed they have 11 or more employees. Other packages and options are available - further details are available on request. |
DEFINITIONS |
Definitions are detailed in the terms and conditions for BT Business Flex and which can be found at: www.bt.com/terms (or any other url that BT advises to you). The following additional definitions apply: Calls means calls initiated on Lines and Other Services in the Inventory. Contributory Spend means the spend (excluding VAT) that contributes to achieving the Committed Spend. Installation means Lines within the same telephone number and which typically terminate on the same piece of equipment/CPE Line means the types of access line listed below which can be included in the Inventory. Other Services means a mobile service provided by BT under a contract between BT and the Customer which BT has agreed (as identified on the Order Form) will be included in the Inventory. Service Care Level means the repair option chosen by the Customer details of which are set out in the BT Price List. |
MINIMUM PERIOD ROLLOVER |
The Minimum Period is 24 months. At the end of the Minimum Period another Minimum Period (to which the Committed Spend will apply) will commence unless: The Customer terminates the Contract between the 6th day before the end of the Minimum Period and the 28th day after the end of the Minimum Period. |
LINES |
The following Lines can be included in the Inventory: BT Business PSTN (including BT Business Value PSTN and BT Business Critical PSTN Lines) ISDN2 and ISDN30 Featureline Featureline Compact The Customer must maintain at least one Line in the Inventory. |
RENTAL CHARGES |
The monthly rental charges applicable to the Lines when they are included in BT Business Flex will depend upon when the Customer signed the Order Form for BT Business Flex: Order Form signed on or before 16 June 2014 - see Subpart 2 Order Form signed on or after 16 June 2014- see Subpart 3 Order Form signed on or after 11 July 2016- see Subpart 4 |
CALL CHARGES The following tables set out the Calls that can be included in BT Business Flex and the pence per minute rates applicable to those Calls under BT Business Flex. Table 7 - Prices for Calls From Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland for All Tiers Calls from Northern Ireland to fixed telephones in the Republic of Ireland will be charged at the appropriate Inland rate. Calls from Northern Ireland to mobile telephones registered in the Republic of Ireland will be charged at the same rate as calls from the rest of the United Kingdom to mobile telephones registered in the Republic of Ireland. OTHER BENEFITS OF BT BUSINESS FLEX (a) The following products are provided at free or reduced connection or conversion prices for BT Business Flex customers, as detailed in Section 1: of this Price List: BT Business PSTN ( including BT Business Value PSTN and BT Business Critical PSTN) (takeover only) ISDN 2 ISDN30 Featureline Featureline Compact (b) BT Call Tracker see section 2 part 20- at no additional charge for the BT Business Flex Minimum Period. Please note this service is not available on all lines. Lines will be checked for eligibility at the point of order. Please note that Call Tracker is provided subject to its own terms and conditions available at http://www.bt.com/terms (c) BT Bill Direct - the BT Bill Direct connection charge will not apply however BT will apply all other BT Bill Direct charges. The standard terms and conditions applicable to BT Bill Direct will apply. (d) Service Care Level - Prompt Care (excluding BT Business Value PSTN and BT Business Critical PSTN lines) - Details of Prompt Care can be found in Section 14 of this BT Price List . INVENTORY The Customer is responsible for identifying the Lines and any Other Services which are to be included within the Inventory. The Customer must ensure that all Lines and any Other Services are identified on the Inventory and advise BT of any omissions or changes. Failure to advise BT of any omissions or changes may: - Delay acceptance and activation of the Customer's order for BT Business Flex;
- Mean that lines do not receive the charges applicable to BT Business Flex; and
- Impact on the Customer's ability to meet the Committed Spend in which case a reconciliation charge may apply.

CHANGES TO THE INVENTORY Adding Lines to the Inventory - where the additional Lines ("Additional Lines") are the same type as those already included in the Inventory ("Original Lines"), the Service Care Level and BT Business Flex charges applicable to the Original Lines will be applied to the Additional Lines. Where the Customer requires the Additional Lines to be subject to different Service Care Levels or BT Business Flex charges, the Customer must terminate the BT Business Flex contract (in which case a reconciliation charge may be payable subject to the migration rules set out below) and sign a new BT Business Flex contract. |
Removing Lines and Other Services from the Inventory - where Lines and/or Other Services are removed from the Inventory the charges applicable to BT Business Flex will no longer apply to those Lines and/or Other Services and they will be charged in accordance with the Standard Contract. Where removal of a Line from the Inventory means that there are no longer any Lines in the Inventory, the BT Business Flex termination and reconciliation rules set out below will apply. |
CONTRIBUTORY SPEND The following spend will contribute towards the Committed Spend: - Rental spend on the Lines included in the Inventory
- Spend on Calls initiated on Lines in the Inventory - Please note that spend on Calls initiated on Other Services are not Contributory Spend.
- The spend on Critical Care or Total Care on Lines in the Inventory where these apply.

International Direct Connect (IDC) calls will not contribute towards the Committed Spend. |
RECONCILIATION Where on the Spend Measurement Date, the Customer's Contributory Spend is less than 80%of the Committed Spend, a charge equal to 20%of the difference between the Customer's Contributory Spend and 80%of the Committed Spend will be applied. The charge will be applied to the Customer's nominated PST account. All reconciliation charges which are below £10.00 will be waived off by BT. The rules regarding termination and reconciliation are set out below. |
TERMINATION Termination of the BT Business Flex contract will not terminate any Standard Contracts which must be terminated in accordance with the terms and conditions of that Standard Contract (a termination charge may be payable in addition to any reconciliation charges due under BT Business Flex). If the Standard Contract is not terminated the charges applicable to the Standard Contract will apply. Termination of a Standard Contract Line and/or any Other Service will not terminate the BT Business Flex contract provided that at least one Line remains in the Inventory. Where termination of a Line means that there are no Lines in the Inventory, the BT Business Flex contract will terminate and reconciliation charges may apply (as detailed above under Reconciliation and below under Termination Before The End of the Minimum Period) in addition to any termination charges due under the Standard Contract for the Line and/or Other Services. |
TERMINATION BEFORE THE END OF THE MINIMUM PERIOD Where the Contract is terminated before the end of the Minimum Period the date of termination will be the Spend Measurement Date. BT will apply a reconciliation charge unless: (a) The Contract is terminated and the circumstances set out in clauses 8.7 (a) to (c) of the Conditions apply; or (b) The Contract is terminated because BT has increased the charges or changed the Contract, in either case to the Customer's significant detriment, and: (i) the Customer's termination occurs within 3 months of BT notifying the Customer of an increase in charges or a changes to the Contract to the Customer's significant detriment; and (ii) the Customer's Contributory Spend on the Spend Measurement Date (which will be the date of termination) is 80% of the Committed Spend due on a pro-rata basis. |
In all other circumstances the following rules will apply: - Termination within the first 12 months of the Minimum Period - where on the Spend Measurement Date the Customer's Contributory Spend is less than 80% of the Committed Spend due over the Minimum Period, a charge equal to 20% of the difference between the Customer's Contributory Spend and 80% of the Committed Spend due over the Minimum Period will be applied.
- Termination within the second 12 months of the Minimum Period - where on the Spend Measurement Date the Customer's Contributory Spend for the second 12 months of the Minimum Period is less than 80% of the Committed Spend applicable to the second 12 months of the Minimum Period, a charge equal to 20% of the difference between the Customer's Contributory Spend for the second 12 months of the Minimum Period and 80% of the Committed Spend applicable to the second 12 months of the Minimum Period will be applied.

MIGRATION Where the Customer is migrating to BT Business Flex from another BT calls and lines package the migration rules applicable to that calls and lines package will apply. Where the Customer is migrating from: (a) A BT Business Flex contract to another BT Business Flex contract; or (b) To another BT service. The date of migration will be the Spend Measurement Date and a reconciliation charge will apply unless: - The Customer's Contributory Spend under the original BT Business Flex contract is 75%of 80%of the Committed Spend due on the original BT Business Flex contract on a pro-rata basis; and
- The Customer commits to an equal or higher Committed Spend (where the new service includes such a commitment) and Minimum Period under the new BT Business Flex contract or the other BT service.

CONDITIONS BT Business Flex is for a Customer's own use and the Customer must not resell the service. BT Business Flex is provided on BT's Contract for BT Business Flex which consist of: - The Contract for BT Business Flex which can be found at www.bt.com/terms (or any other URL that BT provides to the Customer); and
The Lines and any Other Services included in the Inventory and Calls are subject to the applicable BT standard terms and conditions ("Standard Contract") as amended by BT's Contract for BT Business Flex. Payment - where the Customer does not pay by Direct Debit the Payment Processing Fee set out at Section 15, Part sub part of this BT Price List will apply. Unless a charge is specified above or in the Order Form, charges will be as per the Standard Contract. Under BT Business Flex the Customer authorises BT to remove any Exchange Line Credit Scheme, Access Credit Scheme or Business Line Reward discount schemes associated with the Lines that are to be included in the BT Business Flex Inventory. |
Exclusions The following services are excluded: Residential Lines Service Provider Calls and Access lines Payphone lines Temporary Lines / Temporary Service Lines Telephone in a lift Rented Card Phone line Lines not provided by BT Featureline Corporate ISDN Connect BT Service lines FeatureNet Embark Telepoint lines Private Circuits Business Start Up lines Incoming DDI lines Custodial Tagging Lines Chargecard Calls billed to a credit card Exchange Lines provided at non-served premises Inbound Service calls and Network Service facility fees. International Direct Connect (IDC) Business PSTN and ISDN lines provided under a contract which includes charges other than standard published charges and/or standard BT terms and conditions. No other PST call pricing packages (including BT Exchange Line Credit Scheme, BT Access Credit Scheme and BT Business Line Reward), bespoke package, BT Call Centre Advance or BT Business Broadband calls and lines package may be taken in conjunction with BT Business Flex on the same items that are in the Inventory. |
