Back in Business - This product has been withdrawn from ISDN2e customers with effect from 30/06/13

Back in Business (BIB) provides a Voicemail Service when an ISDN2/2e Customer experiences a Service Failure of all its ISDN2/2e lines, or is temporarily unable to use the lines due to matters beyond the Customer's reasonable control. BIB is available on an opt in basis, either at the same time as ordering an ISDN2/2e line or anytime later during the period of the Customer's ISDN2/2e Contract.

The Voicemail Service will be activated by BT when the Customer reports a Service Failure by ringing an 0800 (Freefone) number. BT will provide the Customer with the telephone number to access the Voicemail Service. Incoming calls to the Customer's ISDN2/2e line(s) will be automatically diverted to the Voicemail Service, which will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Messages left on the Voicemail Service can then be remotely accessed and retrieved by the Customer at their convenience. Following restoration of Service, BT will remove any remaining messages from the Voicemail upon giving notice to the Customer and the Voicemail Service will be deactivated.

There is no Minimum Period for Back in Business.

This service is not available to Residential Customers.

Customers are still eligible to claim under the Customer Service Guarantee Scheme (CSGS). Under the terms of the CSGS, Call Diversion may be offered, but as an alternative to BIB.
