Subpart 4:Call Diversion & Smart Divert Valuepacks

Call Diversion ValuePacks are no longer available for new supply. Customers are advised to consider BT Calling Features Packs.

Offering business customers the ability to purchase Packages of two, three or four BT Calling Features customised to their own requirements. Customers are required to take Call Diversion or Smart Divert plus a choice of up to 3 other BT Calling Features from: Call Waiting, Caller Display*, Ring Back and Three Way Calling.

Eligibility

  • 1. Business customers only.
  • 2. See BT Calling Features Packs for details of BT Calling Features eligibility.
  • 3. Available on PSTN lines only. Smart Divert is not available on ISDN, payphone lines, Direct Dialling In and Featurelines.
  • 4. Call Diversion and Smart Divert are available on multi line installations and are charged on a `per number' basis.

Conditions

  • 1. Service is provided under BT's Terms & Conditions for Business Service.
  • 2. Call Diversion and Smart Divert ValuePacks are subject to a Minimum Period of Service of 3 months.
  • 3. One change of BT Calling Feature per quarter is allowed with the exception of Call Diversion or Smart Divert.

Additional Information

Touchtone Telephones

Touchtone telephones are required for all BT Calling Features with the exception of Calling Line Identity (CLI) services, Call Minder, Ring Back and Call Sign. Touchtone is a trademark of BT in the UK.

Caller Display

*Please note that the Caller Display Calling Feature is subject to availability.

Customers will require compatible equipment to display the Calling Line Identity (CLI), available from BT and other suppliers of telecommunications equipment.

Smart Divert

Calls made to change the divert number remotely are charged at the appropriate dialled call rates. The diverted part of the call is charged to the renter of the service at the appropriate dialled call rates; calling customers pay the call charge only to the number dialled.

Restrictions apply to diverted calls. Please see the entries relating to Call Diversion.

Call Diversion

Call Diversion is only available to the following international destinations: Australia (including Christmas & Cocos Islands), Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Malaysia, Norway, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, United States (excluding Hawaii). The diverted part of the call is charged to the renter of the service at the appropriate dialled call rates; calling customers pay the call charge only to the number dialled.

When using BT's Call Diversion it is not possible to divert calls using Indirect Access codes.

Call Diversion is not available to Premium Rate numbers.
