General Description

BT Business Broadband is an "always-on" Internet Protocol (IP) access link to the Internet provided over a copper telephone wire (standard PSTN line). This line can be obtained directly from BT or may be provided by an alternative telephony Service Provider.

BT Business Broadband uses ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) technology with speeds of up to 17 megabits per second (mbps) depending on the proximity of the Customer?s Site to the BT exchange/cabinet from which the access link is provided. It provides priority throughput during peak times.

The Customer may choose from a range of BT Business Broadband options according to usage and support requirements.

Customers have the option of ordering 1, or 5 static IP addresses. Additional charges will apply as set out in Sub Part 3 .

*For orders for new supply placed on or after 9th September 2015, this will be limited to the Minimum Period

Rental and Connection Charges

Rental charges will vary according to the option and Minimum Period selected by the Customer as set out in the following tables for the BT Business Broadband Products

If purchased before 12/03/18, customers may have been entitled to an Area 3 discount in certain geographical areas (shown in brackets).

After the end of a customer?s minimum period on 24/36/60 contracts, prices will revert to the 12month price for that product.

The following options are not available for new supply or resign from 15 September 2014

BT Business Total Broadband Office includes a monthly usage allowance of 10GB, and BT Business Total Broadband Advance a monthly usage allowance of 50GB. Charges apply if the usage allowances are exceeded as set out in Sub Part 3. All other BT Business Total Broadband options include unlimited usage.

BT Business Total Broadband Advance Support includes access to BT Tech Heads? which provides remote access IT support as set out in the Conditions for BT Business Broadband Access Service.
