Call Minder is a voice and fax messaging service. There are three Call Minder messaging services as follows:
Call Minder is a standard voice messaging service consisting of one Mailbox.
Call Minder Extensions is a voice messaging service consisting of nine Mailboxes.
Call Minder Premier is a voice and fax messaging service consisting of five Mailboxes and offers customers the option to rent additional Mailboxes up to a total of nine.
Eligibility
Call Minder is available to all single line customers on digital exchanges and who have a telephone and/or fax unless it is a line that is classified or reclassified as BT residential that is provided by fibre technology.

There is no charge for retrieving messages from the line on which CallMinder is provided. Where messages are retrieved remotely, normal call charges apply.
Callers leaving messages on the CallMinder service pay call charges at the normal rates.
Call Return (1571)
If a customer has the facility to dial 1571 (Call Minder, BT Answer customers) on their line and retrieve messages, they will be able to dial 1571 followed by 0 to return a message.
Where a customer attempts to return the call by pressing 0, an additional charge will be incurred in addition to the normal dialled rates. In these circumstances the additional charge relates to the provision of the return call attempt and applies irrespective of whether the call is answered or not. Please note that Customers registered with BT as disabled are not subject to this charge. (to enquire about this register call 195).
Customers can withhold their numbers on a per call basis by prefixing that number with 141. The permanent number withhold facility will withhold the numbers for all calls.
Call Return is available to all single line customers. It is not available on PBX lines. Additionally, this service may not be compatible with certain types of payphone.
Conditions
1.Call Minder is provided under `Terms & Conditions for Telephone Service'.
2.There is no minimum period of service.
Additional Information
A TouchTone telephone is preferred but is not essential to use Call Minder.
Rates for accessing CallMinder messages from overseas, from mobile phones or from other UK Telephone Service Providers are set by the relevant service provider
