Business Broadband Voice Pricing Information

From 26th October 2009 there are three Business Broadband Voice pricing packages which are as follows:

Broadband Voice with Free UK Calls
Broadband Voice with Free UK Calls and IP Phone,
Broadband Voice Unlimited Call Package
All packages are available with and without Business One Plan Variant

Eligibility

1. Open to all UK businesses that order BT Business Broadband Voice when placing a new order or agreeing to a further minimum term for BT Business Total Broadband before 26th October 2009.

2. The connection fee for the first line only will be waived together with the monthly charges for the duration of the BT Business Broadband Voice contract

3. Conditions

3.1 Customers must have a BT PSTN line, order BT Business Broadband Voice and place an order or agree to a further minimum term for BT Business Total Broadband.

3.2 An outgoing call must be made using the first line:

(a) within 90 days of placement of the order for the Services, and subsequently

(b) at least every 90 days from the Service Start Date.

Failure to do so may result in suspension or termination, at BT's option, of the Service to the first line.

3.3 This will not apply where the first line of the BT Business Broadband Voice service is provided to any UK businesses ordering the BT Business Broadband Voice Plus product.

3.4 Eligible customers wishing to switch to a free BT Business Broadband Voice line from an existing chargeable first line will be charged for any remaining period of the chargeable first line minimum period.

3.5 Except as expressly stated, the standard terms and conditions for the relevant service will apply in addition to these terms and conditions.

4. Notes

4.1 Any calls made using the BT Business Broadband Voice service must be paid for at applicable standard rates.

4.2 Any additional BT Business Broadband Voice lines will be subject to applicable standard monthly rental charges.

5 General Notes

5.1. Business Broadband Voice Customer Equipment may be required (such as Broadband Voice Telephone Adapter).

5.2. Customers must have:

*Geographic Number Portability Import enables the customer of an Other Licensed Operator (OLO), to transfer the number associated with their fixed telephony service from the OLO to BT. A telephone number which had previously been exported to the OLO from BT can also be imported.

13/09 BT Business Broadband Voice Free UK Calls Special Offer to Special Offer Notice for Inclusive 500 minutes of Local and National Calls.

Eligibility

1. Open to all UK businesses that order BT Business Broadband Voice.

2. Conditions

2.1 Customers must have a BT PSTN line and BT Business Broadband to order BT Business Broadband Voice

2.2 Except as expressly stated, the standard terms and conditions for the relevant service will apply in addition to these terms and conditions.

2.3 There is a maximum limit of two Broadband Voice lines per BT Business Broadband connection

2.4 If customers select the Broadband Voice Unlimited Call Package they must have a Broadband Voice line.

Minimum Period

2.5 The Minimum Period is 1 or 2 years as specified on the order.

2.7 All calls within the Free UK Inland Calls offer will be rounded up to the next 60 seconds.

Calls from Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland are charged as an International call as below (except where the call is being made from a Business Broadband Voice line which has a Northern Ireland geographic number associated with it, in which case, the call will be charged at Inland call rates).

There is no facility fee for 3 Way calls and any Reminder calls are charged as a local call

Business Broadband Voice International Direct Dialled Calls

International Direct Dialled Calls to fixed phone numbers and mobile phone numbers (mobile includes other special and higher rate services phone numbers). Full details of the destinations and number ranges to which this applies are shown at Section 2Part 17.

Calls to International Direct Dialled (IDD) fixed phone numbers are capped. The applicable cap set up fees, fixed pence per minute rate, price cap and mobile pence per minute rate per country are as follows. Call prices are subject to the Capped Call Fair usage policy (Sub part 3 refers).

Capped Call prices will be calculated as follows:

The price of a call will be the Set-Up Charge plus the pence per minute rate specified, multiplied by the duration of the call in seconds, until the value of the call reaches the specified cap. The Capped Call price will apply until the call duration reaches 1 hour, after which the price of the call will equal the duration of the call less one hour multiplied by the pence per minute plus the Capped Call price from the first hour of the call.

This service is available to customers who have BT Business Broadband and subsequently order BT Business Broadband Voice. The charge includes one engineering visit to the premises to configure and demonstrate the Business Broadband Voice service.

Falcon IP Phone

1. The Falcon IP phone can be purchased as an Outright Sale. The charge will apply from 15th November 2010 The charge is specified in the table below. BT's standard Conditions of Sale apply.

The Falcon IP Phone is covered by a 12 months warranty. If a fault occurs with the phone and it is one which is covered by the warranty, the Customer will be required to return the phone to BT within 14 days of receiving a replacement. If the phone is not received by BT within 14 days, the customer will be charged the one-off payment charge specified above.

2. Customers taking the Business Broadband Voice with Free UK calls - 2 year contract with IP Phone are supplied with a Falcon IP phone as part of the rental package

The following applies:

2.1 Warranty for Falcon IP Phone (rental package)

(a). If, for 24 months from delivery, BT is notified of a fault in the phone which is due to faulty design, manufacture or materials, or the negligence of BT, BT will where necessary by arrangement with the Customer, replace or (at its option) repair the faulty part free of charge provided that:

(i) the phone has been properly kept, used and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's or BT's instructions, if any, and has not been modified except with BT's written consent; or

(ii) the fault is not due to accidental or wilful damage; interference with or maintenance of the phone by persons other than BT.

(b). This warranty does not cover fair wear and tear.

(c). The Customer will be required to return a faulty phone to BT with 14 days on receiving replacement. If the faulty phone is not received by BT within 14 days, BT will charge the customer at the rate specified in section one off payment details as above

(d). If the Customer reports a fault and BT finds there is none or that the Customer has caused the fault, BT may apply a charge.

(e). Except where the Customer relies on BT's written advice, it is the Customer's responsibility to satisfy itself as to the suitability of the phone for its needs.

(f). BT does not warrant that any software will be free of all faults or that its use will be uninterrupted, but BT will remedy those defects which significantly impair performance within a reasonable time

2.2 Title in the Falcon IP Phone passes to the Customer at the end of the Minimum Period (2 years)

Early Contract Termination

General Notes

1. Customers must sign a new Contract with either a 1 year or 2 year Minimum Period.

2. Upon expiry of the 1st Minimum Period, the Contract will continue for subsequent Minimum Period(s) until such time as the Customer takes the action prescribed in the Service Schedule or terminates the Contract or Service in accordance with the Conditions.

3. Following the 1st Minimum Period, the monthly rental charge will be automatically re-aligned from the appropriate monthly rental for the 1st Minimum Period to the appropriate monthly rental for subsequent Minimum Periods (see above).

4. If the Customer notifies BT in accordance with the provisions of the Service Schedule that it does not want the Contract to continue for further Minimum Period(s), the provisions of paragraph 3 above will not apply or, if the provisions of paragraph 3 above have already been applied, the Customer will be charged from the date of such notification at the monthly rental applicable for the 1st Minimum Period.

5. During the appropriate Minimum Period(s), the monthly rental will include one geographic number (in area or out of area) per line. Outside of the Minimum Period geographic numbers will be charged at the rates set out above.

International Direct Dialled Calls

Calls to International Direct Dialled (IDD) fixed phone numbers are capped. The applicable set up fees, fixed pence per minute rate, price cap and mobile pence per minute rate per country and method of calculation are as BT Business Broadband Voice IDD rates (see Sub Part 2). Capped Call prices are subject to the Capped Call Fair usage policy (Sub part 3 refers).

Additional Lines - BT Hosted VoIP

BT Hosted VoIP is limited to a maximum of 100 lines per instalation and is limited to a maximum of 8 lines per BT Business Broadband connection.

The first Hunt group and MADN are inclusive with BT Hosted VoIP service additional Hunt group and MADN's will be charged at standard rate thereafter.

Early Contract Termination

(i) For BT Hosted VoIP Contracts , the termination charges are:-

- During the first Minimum Period of a 1 year Minimum Period contract, the Customer would pay the total Monthly Payments (together with any Connection Charges) remaining for the Minimum Period.

- During the first Minimum Period of a 2 year Minimum Period contract, the Customer would pay the total Monthly Payments (together with any Connection Charges) remaining in year 1 of the Minimum Period and 20% of the total Monthly Payments (together with 100% of any Connection Charges)remaining in year 2.

- During subsequent Minimum Period(s) of both 1 year and 2 year Minimum Period contracts, the Customer would pay 20% of the total Monthly Payments (together with 100% of any Connection Charges)remaining for the Minimum Period.

Early Contract Termination

(i) For BT Hosted VoIP Contracts , the termination charges are:

- During the first Minimum Period of a 1 year Minimum Period contract, the Customer would pay the total Monthly Payments (together with any Connection Charges) remaining for the Minimum Period.

- During the first Minimum Period of a 2 year Minimum Period contract, the Customer would pay the total Monthly Payments (together with any Connection Charges) remaining in year 1 of the Minimum Period and 20%of the total Monthly Payments (together with 100%of any Connection Charges)remaining in year 2.

- During subsequent Minimum Period(s) of both 1 year and 2 year Minimum Period contracts, the Customer would pay 20%of the total Monthly Payments (together with 100%of any Connection Charges)remaining for the Minimum Period.

ii) BT Hosted VoIP with BT Business One Plan Variant

The following exceptions apply to contracts entered into after the 26th October 2009 for BT Hosted VoIP call packages when taken with BT Business One Plan Variant;

(a) Call rates will be charged at the BT Business One Plan Variant committed tier rate unless specified otherwise.

(b) BT Business Broadband Voice Calls to BT Broadband Voice Numbers are charged at zero rate

iii) BT Hosted VoIP Plus fees are as BT Hosted VoIP fees with the following additional Call package option included in the line rental:

BT IP Trunk provides the facility to make or receive a call using a suitably enabled BT Business Broadband line and provides a means of connecting a customer's PBX to BT's VoIP network.

Each BT IP Trunk will support multiple channels, subject to the underlying data/broadband connection.

There are two BT IP Trunk packages, BT IP Trunk is available with and without Business One Plan:

Conditions

Moving Premises

If, after the Service Start Date, the Customer moves to a new Site, the customer must terminate the contract unless BT confirms to the Customer that BT is able to provide the Service at the new Site. Early termination charges will apply on termination of the contract unless BT is unable to provide the Service at the new Site as a result of BT being unable to provide an equivalent number of channels at the new Site. If BT is able to provide the Service at the new Site, the Customer may elect to continue with the Contract in which event:

a) the Customer will continue to pay all charges (including rental and other recurring charges) up to, during and following the change-over period when the Service is transferred to the new Site.

b) the Customer will pay the installation and set-up charges applicable to a new BT IP PBX for provision of the Service at the new Site.

c) there will be no break to the Minimum Period which will continue unchanged.

Changes to customer requirements prior to the Service Start Date may result in a redesign of the Service which may affect delivery dates and charges.

Changes to facilities or features requested by the Customer following the Service Start Date may be subject to charges.

Early Contract Termination

In accordance with clause 6.3 of the Conditions, the following will apply:

1. Termination of contracts with a Minimum Period of 1 year.

If the Contract is terminated during the Minimum Period the Customer will pay any outstanding connection or other non-recurring charges and the full rental for the balance of the Minimum Period at the prevailing rental at the time of the termination.

2. Termination of contracts with a Minimum Period of 3 or 5 years.

If the Contract is terminated during the Minimum Period, the following will apply:

(a) if the Contract is terminated within the first 12 months of the Minimum Period, the customer will pay any outstanding connection or other non-recurring charges and the full rental for the first 12 months of the Minimum Period and 20% of the rental that would otherwise have been payable for the balance of the Minimum Period at the prevailing rental at the time of the termination.

(b) If the Contract is terminated after the first 12 months of the Minimum Period, the Customer will pay any outstanding connection or other non-recurring charges and 20% of the rental that would otherwise have been payable for the balance of the Minimum Period at the prevailing rental at the time of the termination.

ii) BT IP Trunk with BT Business One Plan Variant

The following exceptions apply to contracts entered for BT IP Trunk call packages when taken with BT Business One Plan Variant;

(a) Call rates will be charged at the BT Business One Plan Variant committed tier rate unless specified otherwise.

(b) BT Business Broadband Voice Calls to BT Broadband Voice Numbers are charged at zero rate

(d) The Price Caps for F2M are as BT IP Trunk Price Caps in F2M Capped rates

(e) IDD calls are charged at BT Business Broadband Voice IDD rates
