• i) BT Broadband Talk Softphone is software that facilitates initiation and management of communications from a PC for BT Broadband Talk Softphone Top Up customers and BT Broadband Talk customers registered since 30 January 2006 .
• ii) BT Broadband Talk Softphone Top Up customers and BT Broadband Talk customers registered since 30 January 2006, will not be charged a monthly or quarterly fixed fee for using BT Broadband Talk Softphone although certain optional features may be the subject of subscription charges.
• iii) Calls and services from BT Broadband Talk Softphone will be charged as Broadband Talk Packages (except Top Up service).
• iv) For customers on BT Broadband Talk Evening and Weekend Package, BT Broadband Talk Softphone allows unlimited geographic UK National and Local calls at evenings and weekends.
• v) For customers on BT Broadband Talk Anytime Package, BT Broadband Talk Softphone allows unlimited geographic UK National and Local calls during the day and at evenings and weekends.
• vi) Additional charges are made for all other calls and services.

• i) BT Broadband Talk Softphone will be available to all BT Broadband Talk Softphone Top Up customers and BT Broadband Talk customers registered since 30 January 2006 with the appropriate equipment and operating systems/software.
• ii) The Customer will need to install the software to use the service.
• iii) Charges to BT Broadband Talk Customers for BT Broadband Talk Softphone will be billed on the BT Broadband Talk customer's usual telephone bill.

BT Broadband Talk Softphone Top Up Service

BT Broadband Talk Softphone Top Up calls (except International and the exceptions below) are charged as Unlimited Weekend Plan call charges for the Top Up service, including BT Broadband Talk Softphone calls to other BT Broadband Talk numbers. BT Broadband Talk calls to non BT Broadband Talk 055 and 056 numbers will be charged as Unlimited Weekend Plan call charges, as appropriate Please see Part 8 of of this Section.

Calls from Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland are charged as an International call, as per the rates in the International Calls table.

Calls to the speaking clock are free of charge, there is no facility fee for 3 Way calls and any Reminder calls are charged as a local call.

Calls to Local Number Translation Service (NTS) (0X45) numbers will be charged at the Unlimited Weekend Plan local call rates shown in the relevant Table 2 (b), i.e these calls are not eligible for the zero pence per minute charge (see Part 8 within this Section).

Calls of any type for which there is no Calling Plan pence per minute rate specified will be charged at the standard rate (please see "Restrictions" later in this Part).

Calls to the Channel Islands will be charged at rates shown in Table 1b of Unlimited Weekend Plan (See Part 8 within within this Section)
