Part 17:BT Access Credit Scheme

Subpart 1:BT Access Credit Scheme

Description

Please see Special Notice

BT Access Credit Scheme is a rental pricing scheme for business Customers. Under the BT Access Credit Scheme the Customer commits to an Annual Rental Spend on its eligible BT PSTN, ISDN2, ISDN30 and Buisness Highway lines (Business Highway, ISDN2 DASS2 and ISDN30 I421 have been withdrawn from new supply with effect from 10 April 2006) and will receive a credit for those lines, which will be applied against a bill account to be nominated by the Customer. The Customer will receive credits at the level appropriate to that Annual Rental Spend taking into account the Contract Period Rental Spend. The Contract Period applicable to the scheme is 12 months.

The terms applicable to this scheme are the Conditions for BT Access Credit Scheme (`the Conditions').

Rollover Contracts

Customers who commit to an Annual Rental Spend of £5000.00 or more and have 11 or more employees

These are contracts which will rollover to a Subsequent Contract Period (to which the Annual Rental Spend will apply) upon expiry of a Contract Period or Subsequent Contract Period unless the Customer ends the Contract between the sixth day before the end of a Contract Period or Subsequent Contract Period and the 28th day after the end of a Contract Period or a Subsequent Contract Period.

Non Rollover Contracts

Customers who commit to an Annual Rental Spend of £4999.99 or less

These are contracts which will not rollover to a Subsequent Contract Period at the end of the current Contract Period.

At the end of the current Contract Period:

a. BT will measure the Annual Rental Spend and apply reconciliation charges as appropriate.

b. Thereafter the following will apply:

i) the contract will continue until terminated by either party as detailed in the Conditions and

ii) the Subsequent Contract Period, Annual Rental Spend and reconciliation charge will no longer apply.

Contracts with an Annual Rental Spend of £4999.99 or less are not available for new supply with effect from 1 January 2012.

Contract Period renewal - where the Customer does not wish to continue for a further 12 months at the end of the Contract Period, the Customer must terminate the Contract in accordance with paragraph 7 of the Conditions for BT Access Credit Scheme. If the Customer does not terminate the contract, the Contract Period will be renewed for a further 12 month Contract Period at the same Annual Rental Spend and the Conditions will continue to apply.

Reconciliation charge - Customers should note the reconciliation rules below, which apply if the Annual Rental Spend is not achieved.
