The charges for this service are based on a flat rate that includes connection, rental and outgoing calls barred (OCB) charges. The rate is dependent on the period of tagging as requested by the Home Office Agents as follows:

If a Custodial Tagging Service line is ordered at short notice in relation to BT's normal provision timescales, then BT will endeavour to meet the Customer's requirements, but cannot guarantee it. If the order is placed within five working days immediately prior to the first day that service is made available to use on that day, then the Short Notice Provision charge will be raised:

A customer can extend the service contract by whole months beyond the initial contractual period. Extensions of part months are not allowed. For such extensions, the standard PSTN business line rental will apply.

In addition to above, the following charges will also apply as required:

The following Custodial Tagging Transfer Charge applies where an existing Custodial Tagging Service is transferred (including by novation) from one customer to another. The Custodial Tagging Transfer Charge is applied when the transfer of the Custodial Tagging Service requires no changes to external or internal wiring. If the transfer requires changes to such wiring, the standard Custodial Tagging Charges will be applied.

Custodial Tagging Service may be subject to Excess Construction charges (see Section 45).

Where the Custodial Tagging Service is provided outside normal working hours, Timescale charges apply (see Section 15 Part 8).

If requested, internal shift charges will apply (see Section ).

Enhanced maintenance options are available on Custodial Tagging lines as per standard service (see Section 14).

Cancellation charges will not apply.

A Visit Charge (see Section 15 Part 7) will be raised as per Standard Business telephone service.
