Standard Service - Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) exchange line (Ordinary Line).

BT's standard service for telephony is provided on the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) exchange line (the Ordinary line). Ordinary lines will be classified or reclassified by BT as residential or business lines depending on the main use of the line or the premises to which it is provided. Charges in this Part also apply to Private Payphone Lines.

BT Business Line Divert - not available for new supply

BT Business Line Divert is a PSTN line with inclusive Call Divert. It provides the customer with the facility to divert their calls when their line is busy, when there is no reply or when they are out of the office. The alternative number can be a landline or mobile phone number. The customer pays for the diverted part of the call, from their phone to the alternative number they divert their calls to. Customers with CPS will have their calls routed via their Service Provider assuming the Service Provider supports Last Diverting Line Identity.

The customer can only have this product on a compatible business PSTN line. Conditions and exclusions apply:

Tagging Lines, Temporary Lines, Payphone & concessionary lines, OCB lines, TOS lines, BT Pay&Call lines (BT Pay&Call was withdrawn on 31st December 2009), All Residential Lines
