Rearrangements of BT Network Equipment and Lineplant

Charges for rearrangement work of BT Network equipment and Line Plant (other than external shifts) are based on costs and are assessed for each individual situation, following a survey to establish the full extent of the work (there is no specific charge for this survey). The charge is calculated taking into consideration the following: Stores, Construction charges by BT or its contractors, overheads and wayleaves. Different assessment methods are used for Line plant rearrangement work, network equipment rearrangement work and work for road schemes and Acts of Parliament.

Where it is necessary to carry out work on customer's equipment beyond the Network Terminating Point within the customer's premises or site, Time Related Charges may also apply (see Timescale Charges Section 15 Part 8)

Conditions

The customer must sign agreement to the rearrangement charges before the work commences.
