Withdrawn Products

Extension Speechline Standard.

This service was withdrawn from new supply from 1 December 1998. Extension SpeechLine Standard is superseded by Analogue Premier or Standard. It is an own exchange analogue private circuit with Standard Care Level of service, for use primarily in the extension of telephone calls transmitted over the Public Switched Network. It is only available when both ends of the circuit are within the same local serving exchange area. The service is charged on a per circuit basis.

Accessline Circuits

AccessLine Circuitswithin a local serving exchange area (including AccessLine 3 and Network AccessLine provided prior to 1 April 1990) are charged at a distance independent, per circuit rate. All circuits provided outside an exchange area prior to 1 April 1990 are charged at 2 Local Ends plus a Main Link. Apart from Main Links for the supply of new Out of Area exchange lines.

From 1 April 1990, orders received for AccessLine's have been provided and charged as the equivalent SpeechLine with the exception of AccessLine 6 own exchange which was replaced by Extension SpeechLine Standard which from 1 December 1998 was replaced by Analogue Premier or Standard

AccessLine's 6 and 3 are not available for new supply. AccessLine 6 within Own Exchange Area is superseded by Analogue Premier or Standard.
