BT Prime Service (BTPS) has been fully withdrawn.

BT Prime Exchange Line (1001) service for telephony is provided on the Public Switch Telephone Network (PSTN) exchange line (the Ordinary line). Ordinary lines will be classified or reclassified by BT as residential or business lines depending on the main use of the line or the premises to which it is provided.

The following will not be available to BT Prime Exchange Line (1001) customers:

Shared Service, Low Loss Exchange Lines, Wholesale Exchange Lines, Temporary Service, Alternative Routed Exchange Lines and Out of Area Exchange services.

For Prime Exchange lines if service is required at Non-Served premises see Section Part 5
