Migration to KiloStream & KiloStream N

If a customer wants to upgrade to KiloStream or KiloStream N, they can do so, provided any outstanding Analogue connection charges and rentals are paid in full before migration. In some cases, a reduced connection charge may apply (see KiloStream & KiloStream N Price List entries).

If the upgraded circuits are currently committed to an analogue Singleton Term Contract or Pool, they must migrate to a new Digital contract with a term equal to or greater than the term outstanding on the analogue contract.

Migration is allowed, provided that the terms of the contract is equal to or greater than the outstanding term of the existing contract, without any payment of any outstanding rental. In relation to the migration of a circuit element/s of a Pool Contract the relative commitment number will be reduced accordingly. The following conditions apply:

• (i)Outstanding Private Circuit connection charges must be paid in full before migration.
• (ii)The FeatureNet contract is entered into on or before the termination of the Private Circuit Contract or reduction of the Pool Contract commitment number.
• (iii)The route of the Private circuit/s being replaced is within the FeatureNet Network provided.
• (iv)Total value of set-up fees, rentals and other charges for the new FeatureNet contract must exceed the early termination charge which would otherwise arise if the circuits being converted were to be ceased.
• (v)Reuse of Private circuit plant for FeatureNet services must be possible.
• (vi)Customers must accept a short break in service between cessation of the Private Circuit Contract and the opening of the FeatureNet service.

At any time within the contract option and subject to the conditions below, customers may choose to migrate to a Flexible Bandwidth Contract Option of equal or greater term, without payment of any outstanding rental.

• (i)Outstanding Private Circuit connection charges for the existing service must be paid in full before migration.
• (ii)On migration all appropriate Flexible Bandwidth Service charges must be paid.
• (iii)The route of the Private circuit/s being replaced must be within the Flexible Bandwidth Service Network.
• (iv)The total value of set-up fees, rentals and other charges for the new Flexible Bandwidth Service must exceed the early termination charge which would normally have arisen.

Customers wishing to migrate to NetStream 2000Enterprise and Corporate private circuits (2.4 Kbits - 1024 Kbit/s only) may do so, provided that any outstanding Analogue connection charges and rentals are paid in full before migration. In some cases, a reduced connection charge may apply (see Part 7 of this Section).

If the migrated circuits are currently committed to an analogue Singleton Term Contract or Pool they must migrate to a NetStream 2000Enterprise and Corporate contract with a term equal to or greater than the term outstanding on the analogue contract.
