Subpart 1:DealerStream

With effect of 1st September 2016, DealerStream 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 11 will no longer be available for new supply.

With effect of 01 February 2009, DealerStream 7, 8, 9 & 10 will be no longer available for new supply.

A product developed especially for London City dealers, DealerStream circuits are offered where both circuit ends terminate within the 0207 area also known as the Central London Zone.

A minimum initial commitment totalling 30 DealerStream channels is required. DealerStream Circuits attract the DealerCare level of maintenance within tariff, with Total Care and DealerCare Plus (except DealerCare Plus is not available for DealerStream 11 circuits supplied from November 8th 2006) available at an additional premium.   • There are 2 termination options for DealerStream 1-6 circuits:
  • (i)individual circuit terminations
  • (ii)via Dealerboard Aggregate Interface (ITU-T-G.703/4)

Individual circuit terminations are offered at no extra charge. Dealerboard aggregate interface is offered at no extra charge, provided the criteria of the MegaStream Additional circuit, as detailed in Section 12 part 4 are met.

Subject to a site survey, DealerStream customers (except customers with DealerStream 11) can request Premium Provision where DealerStream circuits ordered before 1500 hrs Monday to Friday will be provided by the end of the following working day.

Customers with existing Private Circuits may migrate their circuits to the nearest equivalent DealerStream circuit without incurring a connection charge.

Internal Shift

An internal shift is where one end of a circuit is moved within a building, Charges are for shifts of the circuit only. Additional charges may apply for removing approved terminal apparatus - see Section 4 or 5 as applicable. If signalling or bearer is required to be moved (internally) Network TimeScale rates will apply - see Section 15 Obsolescent circuits will be upgraded to the next highest specification upon shifting, with the appropriate change in annual rental.

External Shift

An external shift is where one end of a circuit or aggregate interface bearer access is moved from one building to another. Charges are for shifts of the circuit only. Additional charges may apply for removing approved terminal apparatus - see Section 4 or 5 as applicable.

The shift charge for moving an aggregate interface (CAS) bearer includes the shift of associated DealerStream circuits carried over it at the time of the shift.

Where individual terminations are being shifted to a new site but combined with an interface conversion to an aggregate bearer delivery, the per circuit conversion charge (see change of interface option table above) applies for each circuit in addition to the bearer shift charge.

The shift of both ends of a circuit is classed as the provision of a new circuit and the appropriate connection charges will apply.

Pool Contract Options are available on DealerStream Circuits 1 - 6 only, see Part 8 of this Section.

The discounts apply only to the price for the circuit and not to the charges for DealerCare Plus or Total Care.
