If an end of a circuit is moved within the same building, then it is considered an Internal Shift and incurs a Network Timescale charge. These are detailed in Section 15 of the Price List.

If the circuit is to terminate in a different building (“external shift") then a Local end connection charge will apply.

If both ends of the circuit are to be externally shifted then the charge will be the same as for provision of a new circuit.

External Shifts are not permitted on the following KiloStream N speed options - 192kbit/s, 320kbit/s, 384kbit/s, 448kbit/s, 576kbit/s, 640kbit/s, 704kbit/s, 768kbit/s, 832kbit/s, 896kbit/s, 960kbit/s and 1024kbit/s.

Rentals for annual contracts will be recalculated following an external shift. Rentals for fixed price contracts will be recalculated at the rates applicable when the contract was originally signed or the prevailing rates whichever is lower following an external shift.
