When the ServiceCare timescales associated with a particular private circuit has not been met, and the Reduced Charges Scheme is applicable, the annual rental will be reduced in accordance with the following.

NetStream 1 circuits will be eligible for a refund of 25% of the original rental for each eligible failure fault upto a maximum 100% of the annual rental. Performance Scheme payments shall be paid to customers for every eligible failure exceeding 5 clock hours during a contract period.

MegaStream Genus circuits will be eligible for a refund of 25% of the original rental for each eligible failure fault upto a maximum 100% of the annual rental.

Analogue Private Circuits with the ServiceCare level of StandardCare receives £5.00 per occasion for eligible faults. Circuits with the ServiceCare level of StandardCare must claim for any reduction within two months of the restoration of the private circuits. It is not applied automatically.

MegaStream 622 will be subject to the same digital performance scheme as defined below in the table NetStream 2000 Genus Digital Performance Scheme.

NetStream 2000 Hub Digital Performance Scheme applies to genus circuits and circuits of 2Mbit/s and above that are physically connected to SDH hub sites. Otherwise standard performance schemes for repair applies.

Genus Digital Performance Scheme applies to all circuits classified as NetStream 2000 Genus.

The Reduced Charge cycle is the customers annual billing period.

MegaStream Ethernet and LearningStream Ethernet circuits qualify for the Reduced Charges repair scheme, but the Access circuits do not. Any downtime on the Accesses will be reflected in the loss of service in the circuit bandwidths, and reductions will be made accordingly.
